javascript - Datatables UTF-8 issue

Using datatables with server side connection to MYSQL tables, I would like to show table data which contains UTF8 chars like ? ? ?.

It will not work with the default example. Ref. https://datatables.net/examples/server_side/simple.html

Error:

DataTables warning: table id=example - Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/7 How to make it work?

JS:

$(document).ready(function() {
$('#example').DataTable( {
    "processing": true,
    "serverSide": true,
    "ajax": "scripts/server_processing.php"
} );
} );

HTML:

<table id="example" class="display" style="width:100%">
    <thead>
        <tr>
            <th>First name</th>
            <th>Last name</th>
            <th>Position</th>
            <th>Office</th>
            <th>Start date</th>
            <th>Salary</th>
        </tr>
    </thead>
    <tfoot>
        <tr>
            <th>First name</th>
            <th>Last name</th>
            <th>Position</th>
            <th>Office</th>
            <th>Start date</th>
            <th>Salary</th>
        </tr>
    </tfoot>
</table>

PHP:

<?php

/*
