jwt - FIREBASE ADMIN API LIMIT verifyIdToken

Question

I am planning to use firebase Admin API to validate all protected APIs from client. Question I have is

1. Is there any API limit for verifyIdToken( Firebase documentation does not cover it clearly
2. Will there be any potential delay or performance issue in relying on these API for all my protected routes?
