python 3.x - How to read a large file & modify its contents chucks by chunks in python3

I know that I can simply read a large file in chunk by chunk as this But I want to read a large file in chunk by chunk & modify them (i.e. encrypt) & write it to that same file. My objective is edit the content of a large file without reading whole file at once. Are there any method to do that in python3 ?

Actually this is what I'm trying to do. But I want do this to large files like 10GB

f=open('myfile.iso','rb')
array=bytearray(f.read())
f.close()

encrypt(array) #this is just a example for processing.

f=open('myfile.iso','wb')
f.write(array)
f.close()
