deep learning - tensorflow models/face landmarksdetection

Question

I am very new to these topics. I was wondering if I can install this model/library on Ubuntu and modify or use it in my python scripts? https://blog.tensorflow.org/2020/11/iris-landmark-tracking-in-browser-with-MediaPipe-and-TensorFlowJS.html is it only applicable in Java and only on cell phones?!!! I want to use it as usual tensorflow packages and develop a simple algorithm to detect eyes or faces etc. in python.
