webserver - It it safer to transmit data from a websever via POST or JSON?

Question

I was wondering which way is the safest. I programmed an ESP-32 to work as a webserver that can switch from access point mode to station mode via writing the login credentials of a network in a webform and sending those to the ESP, where they get written in a JSON file. Now comes the moment where I have to decide how to send the informations, either directly via POST or written down as a JSON string.

My question is: Which way is safer? ,
