Python: create many subinstances of one maininstance by pre-changing settings in maininstance

Question

sorry, i've searched for a while, but found nothing :-s

how can i realize this:

class MainClass:
  def __init__(self):
    self.setting1 = 1
    self.setting2 = 2

class SubClass(MainClass):
  def __init__(self, set3):
    super().__init__()
    self.setting3 = set3

main_ins = MainClass()
main_ins.setting1 = 123
main_ins.setting2 = 456

for anything in anylist:
  sub_ins = main_ins.SubClass(anything)
  ...do any other stuff with sub_ins...

How can I make SubClass, that inherits from the existing MainClass (main_ins)?
