Question

I have a disk image which has no partitions:

sudo fdisk -lu image
Disk image: 1 GiB, 1073741824 bytes, 2097152 sectors
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes

How can i extract the contents?

I have tried creating a partition with parted and mounting it but had little success: mkpart primary ext4 0 1074MB and the output:
