Redirect to angular component (without route) from another component

Question

I am working on an application where I have 2 flows:

1. Login (authentication forced through canActivate)
2. receive data from another application in a get call (query params) (no activation needed)

The base components are the same (search-component and result-component). The functionality is the same for both flows. In the second flow, I don't need authentication. Is there a way to redirect to components without using routes? or can components be available to other components without routes? How can I handle the above scenario without duplicating the code?
