Can we receive instructions from Google Nest in an android application

Question

At home I have an Android application that controls the lighting in my home, it's me who is developing this app. I also have a google Nest 2, I wanted to know if it is possible to communicate the two in order to send instructions from the google Nest to my android application in order to turn off or turn on lights?
